Chapter 3: "Where do I start?" Practical Intranet Development

In December of 2002, I was approached by Glasshaus Publishing to write the "Where Do I Start?" chapter for an upcoming book on Intranet Development. The chapter outlined the steps involved in preparing to create a new Intranet, or update an existing Intranet within your organization.

The deadline was extremely tight on this project; my first draft (16 pages) was in their hands within 3 days. The next draft had a similarly fast turnaround - changes were made, sections rewritten, and 4 pages were added within a 2 day period.

Linux for Webheads

In the same spirit as Apache for Webheads, this article serves to give a basic understanding of Linux, and various distributions. It provides an overview of how Linux differs from Windows, a guide to installation, and basic security considerations.

CramSession.com Linux+ Certification Practice Exam. Author

Cramsession contracted me to write 35 questions for their Linux+ certification practice exam, with an extremely tight deadline. I delivered on time, with better results than they expected.

Cramsession.com MCSE Practice Exam. Editor

Cramsession approached me to make revisions to their MCSE base practice exam. The revisions consisted of completely rewriting 30 questions.
