welcome to today.

interesting day at the office... we're reorganizing the layout to fit two more desks - putting 4 desks in a 20x20 room. what this all means is that i lost my south window. :( i suppose i'll learn to adjust, however.... but i have to leave my office to look at the river now.

i've received word that my computer is trucking its way home as we speak. i've received a fair bit of ribbing for forgetting my computer in bc, so i'm glad it's on its way back. not to mention i have work files i need off of the box! :)

alas, the box may not survive long in its present form... i have an Athlon that's sitting on my desk with nothing to plug into, so i'm researching what sort of motherboard i should put it in. so far, there's not much. i also need to replace the case, and eventually the video card (for an AGP card, rather than the PCI card that's sitting in it now.) anyone have a (working) slot 1 motherboard they can part with for nothing? :)

i've been calling around to some of the local distributors to try and get pricing on the motherboard i need, and so far nobody's even heard about them. *sigh*

so that's the news for today. tired now, and heading home to spaghetti dinner.
