Kirsten and I have been watching some good, but bizarre movies lately (as well as some not-so-good but not-so-bizarre movies like Skeleton Key, which is bloody awful and - as Kirsten suggested - has the same plot as several Outer Limits / Twilight Zone episodes).
The latest of these movies was But I'm a Cheerleader, starring Natasha Lyonne. It's a weird little film, with a very distinctive cinematographic feel to it, but quirkily charming in its own right. I didn't really buy Lyonne as a cheerleader at first, and quite honestly still didn't by the end... but it's really not the point of the movie. I did, however, buy her character in all other respects. Also amusing were Richard Moll and RuPaul.
