In order to accommodate the next peer review class which is now scheduled for March 16th, "Blood Relations" will now begin on March 4th. Please come to class on the 4th prepared to discuss it. We will also be discussing Cixous on that day. Please read "Laugh of the Medusa" in advance.

Go to Dino Felluga's Introductory Guide to Critical theory, OR to the Salter Library where two books have been put on hold for you, chose an approach, become familiar with its tenets, pick a specific author discussed, and do more research. Do gender- based, psychoanalytical, new-historicist, marxist, or narratological reading of Sharon Pollack's Blood Relations OR Douglas Coupland's Neuromancer. You may (with my permission) likewise bring in any theory you have learned outside of this class.

You will need 5 secondary sources for this paper. No secondary sources can be used from online without permission.

Please include all the regular paratextual apparatus.

2000 word minimum.

Due March 23rd.
