I spent last night reviewing my Chapter 2, and realized I needed to nuke it from orbit and start over again. So today I don't have an excerpt for you, but I do have an outline for the rewrite: Chapter 2: Looking at her looking at herself. sub/object: the author in a post-Zizek world. discussion of subject and subjectivity the subject “cannot jump over its own shadow”; in other words, it cannot observe itself. Whereas it is unlikely that the subject in a film or book will ever break that barrier is unlikely, blogging breaks down the barriers between subject...
