Things that I'm not quite ready to call resolutions, but rather "Things I really should do" for 2006.

<< Edmonton Splendour | Go to Front Page | First day back... >>

  1. Lose weight. It's starting to get so that I think I'm fat. I was at 170 a couple of years ago, and it's attainable again. Going to try swimming a couple of times a week and see if that helps.
  2. Finish the thesis. If I don't get this done this year - god help me.
  3. Write here more often with things that are actually interesting. Things have been pretty stagnant around here, and it's because I've been run off my feet. Hopefully things will change towards the middle/end of the year.
  4. Finish the flooring in the basement. It's past time, and I'm getting a little sick of the concrete tiles.
  5. Write an article on Second Life and the commercialization of community.
  6. Write another book. Who knows on what? Maybe I'll turn the thesis into a book and release it through CC after it's been defended. I'm already planning on making it look nice and spanky (well, as nice and spanky as the thesis regulations allow, that is).
  7. Go hiking much more this summer. We'll have to go on a smaller hike to start, as we're not quite sure how Ruby will do in the woods. Regardless, now that we have a GPS (thanks Mom/Dad U), we have no excuse.
That's it for now... I think most of them are pretty attainable.
