Got back into the gym this morning! I woke up, groggily, about 6:30 this morning, stumbled into the bathroom to brush my teeth, fumbled around the closet for my sweats, and got dressed.
It was supposed to be jogging day with Kirsten, but she looked so peaceful lying in bed that I didn't want to wake her up. Of course, without her there's no incentive at all for me to go jogging, since it's my least favourite activity. So instead, I decided I'd take myself to the gym and do back day. Back day is a fun day - my back muscles are still strong, and there's only a few exercises you can do for them.
I got to the gym and did my 10 minutes of cardio to warm up on the recumbent bike (I didn't feel like the rowing machine, which is my normal warm-up), then wandered over to the lat pull machine. I did a few sets of 12 reps at 100lbs, then moved over to do seated rows (again 100 pounds). After that, I tried to do one-arm dumbell rows (couldn't quite get it) at 15 pounds, then vertical rows at 70 pounds. I finished it off with a couple of sets on the ab machine (why not?).
At the end, I decided to weigh myself, because I figured I must have put on some weight in the last week. Not so, it turns out - I've dropped 2 pounds. I chalk it up to the fact I've been biking every day for the last two weeks.

What did your trainer program for abs/core exercises? Bouncyball works well for me, not that it's my only absercize...
