i just learned about this as well. We don't have tv anymore (no reception at the house) and that is certainly a good thing. But I AM hooked on Six Feet Under and it is nice to just download it.

When I was hooked up with DSL w/ Telus I once received an email for sharing/downloading a Star Trek Enterprise episode. A show freely available on air tv.

A friend of mine receives email from Telus every time he downloads something from Suprnova. He found that if he stays away from there, he doesn't get emails.
