I need to find my center

I need to find my center again.

Any ideas where I left it?

I think you must have left it somewhere in the USA because that is how they spell centre there. If in fact you are actually looking for your CENTRE instead...... did you look in the middle? (sorry channelling orion)

Given that I work in HTML most of the day, I'm surprised I haven't given up more of my Canadianized spelling... ;) I consciously have to write coloUr...

As a Canadian in the US I have noticed a bit of a bizarre trend here - many Americans are adding the mighty "U" back into common words. The entire graphics team at work spell "colour" properly. Also, I was told by a friend that he now spells "honour" with the mighty "U" as it not only looks better, but when the word did include a "U" here, people were honourable. Upon the stripping of the "U" something happened.

what I do when my center goes missing:
- write at least three pages daily in my journal (long hand only)
- drink lots of tea and take bubble baths daily (aka pampering)
- let your significant other cook dinner while you read the paper (or if you don't want to be mad at the world, read some fiction)
- a few sun salutations
- a few walks in the river
- a few doodles

& then poof! it is back. besides the doodling and perhaps the bubble baths, you should try it.
