After watching Sky Captain the other night, Kirsten had a really good question: Who's the superhero of our generation?
Superman is obviously the superhero standard of the 50s and 60s, Spiderman of the 70s and 80s. But what superhero defines our generation? The best suggestions we could come up with were antiheros like Hellboy and the Tick. But as far as superheros, we just couldn't think of any.
Does our generation even need superheros? Does the lack of a large-scale social event like WWII and Vietnam have something to do with it? Will Orion respond to this thread?
