Last year it was gorgeous, and the evenings out in the middle of nowhere among the hoodoos make for incredible night skies. You're more than welcome to join in. The badlands are very cool to see if you haven't seen them before.

Alpine meadows in some dry clime are the best for such things. Are you still game for Mystic Lake Aug 28-9? I can promise it to be more athletic with enough vertical gain to please your fancy.
