I was flipping through the channels last night, waiting for an earache to go away, and managed to come across the Democratic Convention coverage on CNN. Hillary Clinton was winding up her speech, and introduced Bill Clinton. He gave an absolutely amazing speech.
I'm not usually one to sit through speeches, especially those of politicians... but Clinton's address to his fellow Democrats was well delivered. He delivered a scathing attack against the Bush administration, citing the tax cuts, the war in Iraq, the cuts to social programs and police/fire services, and the massive shift from a $5.8 trillion surplus to "a debt of almost $5 trillion."
It's speeches like Clinton's that remind you what a real leader is.

How could you NOT see the DC last night. Geez, there were about 5 channels showing it live. Ended up not watching TV, unsurprisingly :)
