Just got turned down for grad school. Despite my accomplishments since graduation, my GPA wasn't good enough to get me in.

Suck.

suck :( Now I'm all worried about getting into grad school.. my GPA is okay but it ain't anything spectacular.

Wait a few years and try again? Just because you didn't make it this time doesn't mean you won't at another time when the pool is different! (that's what they told me in my grad school workshop anyways...)

god that does suck, Darren. what are your options?

I'm talking with the graduate secretary for the program now, to see if I can appeal... but it sounds like my only option is to take a couple of upgrade courses. She's also going to look into seeing if I can go in as a Qualifying applicant (I have to meet requirements before I can start the program).

When I was in my last term of my BSc I asked my favorite prof if she thought I should try to get a masters, she said forget it, your marks are way too low.

I was crushed. But then I remembered how much I hate school.

Good luck with the upgrade route, hope it goes well for you.
