she's a geek-girl

<< photoredux updates | Main | Martha >>

Every once in awhile, I get all misty-eyed at how far along the geek path K has come. When we first met, she barely used her computer for anything other than writing essays, and had only been on the internet once or twice. She didn't even have an email address!

Now, she's an email ninja, knows a heck of a lot about the Internet, and even has her own website (albeit, a page for her English 101 class).

But last night she showed her geek merit once again.

I brought home a new fish and a new frog (she loooooooooooves those aquatic frogs, and I gave my last frog away to her brother when I moved up here) because the black moor we had (Frodo, the miracle fish) died shortly before we moved.

She named the frog Neo and the fish Trinity.

*sniff* I'm so proud.

  2. I had 3 african aquatic frogs... they were awesome!

The first one was Flip, then Hack and Slash.

Unfortunately Flip died from eating a tiny floating pebble, and Hack and Slash got some weird algae thing.

Flip lived a long time though, and in a tiny tank... he was mucho coolio.

    Congrats!
