New blog added to the sidebar... Orion is a friend of ours; he's a (provisional) PhD candidate at the U of A, and helped us move last week. He's also a big geek.

We wandered over to his place last night, so I could do a thorough examination of his machine - he's been having some weird periods of heavy processor load and slow network activity and wanted a second pair of eyes on it. I didn't find much in the way of problems - he's got his machine shored up pretty well, but I was able to fix a couple of things. Hopefully the machine will run a little smoother for him now.
