In news from the homefront, someone broke into Kirsten's car early yesterday morning and stole the brand new CD player I had installed as a surprise for her.

People suck.

    I hope this has taught you a valuable lesson though... it would have been cheaper if you'd just smashed her window yourself and made up the part about a stereo.

    Owning things is just asking for trouble.

  2. Thankfully they didn't smash the window -- just ripped the lock out of the driver's side door.

    And with the stereo, it turns out the insurance company is really picky about wanting receipts and everything. Apparently hastily hand-written "receipts" from "You know, That Stereo Place Where I Got the Stereo for a Hundred Million Dollars" doesn't fly with them.
