This is an annotated, online version of Laurence Sterne's The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman, a groundbreaking book for its time. I've never actually finished reading it, but what I have read was extremely appealing.
The site's authors have preserved the original layout (which is extremely important to the book), including two completely black pages in Vol I, Chapter XII.
If you have a few days to kill, I'd suggest reading through the book - either online or in print (preferably, of course, in print)
