10 year inventory.

<< My first house... | Main | Oh, those wacky creationists! >>

Michael has taken stock of the last 10 years in his life

What have I gained and lost in the last 10 years?

  • 1 incredibly talented, beautiful woman who has not only put up with every stupid thing I've done for almost 5 years (found her in 1998; we hit our 5th anniversary on October 27th), but still loves me despite myself.

  • 2 cats, Zelda (2001, at 3 yrs old) and Heidegger (2003 at 2 1/2 years old).

  • 6 jobs:

    • Wilway Lumber,

    • Internet Direct,

    • WorldGate Inc,

    • Netmaster / Merilus,

    • Matrikon,

    • Sandcastle,

    • GE

  • 3 cars ('87 Hyundai Stellar, '89 Honda Civic Si, '90 Nissan Sentra)

  • 2 apartments, 2 residences at university

  • 1 Bachelor's Degree (English/History)

  • 3 cities and 2 provinces

  • 30 lbs and 4 inches

  • Large bodies of knowledge accrued

  • Lots of love from the cats and the Kirsten

  1. ooo. this is a fun game. I will only do the past 5 years though, because i am a youngin':
    I have gained:
    - one handsome husband & best friend ever.

    - One official College diploma indicating I am an official starving artist.

    - three jobs Stantec, Matrikon, and Woodward Design.

    - one cuddly cat Isis

    - one car, Pontiac Firefly.

    - one G3, one G4.

    - one partner in art crime. You know who you are cookie man.

    - two apartments, both on the same downtown Edmonton street.

    - one nose piercing.

    - 5 (ok maybe 10) lbs and child bearing hips.
