Danger Cat!

<< I'm a little excited. | Main | C.O.B.R.A >>

K and I decided last night, shortly after our cat Heidegger jumped off the window sill, getting his head caught in the cord for the blinds and swinging backwards after reaching the zenith of his arc, that he's a Danger Cat.

And as such, he's bound to be injured from time to time (another example: he dove in between K's feet one night as she was walking to the bedroom... and managed to get thwacked by her feet no less than six times as they both lurched forward to avoid each other).

This is the only way we can explain his supercat ability to suffer from some sort of injury every few days.

And then, relating this to a coworker in Foxboro, NC, I thought that it might make a great premise for a Saturday Morning Cartoon (or Catroon, if you will)...

It'd have to be something along the lines of The Tick!, rather than, say, Mighty Mouse... and perhaps, instead of a battle cry of "Spoooooooooooon!", he could have a battle cry of "Suuuuuuuuubderrrrrrrrrrrrmal infeeeeeeeectiooooooooooon!" or "Hey, you with the sharp claws and fangs - let's be friiiieeeeeeeends!"

  1. Can my Jezaboo be a guest star? She's accident prone. She falls out of the window, misses the window all together, rolls down the stairs...

I think she'd make a good sidekick. Or a wacky guest star.
