Hit the bigtime!

<< Bill Maher has a blog. | Main | neuromancer script >>

I've been getting quite a few hits at the Comic Book Guy page today, and now I know why... I've hit the big time!

A link to the Ask the Comic Book Guy script was posted in alt.religion.kibology, by N Gergen. Here's the bulk of the post:

From: N. Gergen (gergen@armory.com)
Subject: Comic Book Guy says: "Worst Government Ever!"

Ok, I lied. It's not the Comic Book Guy, but a Nobel laureate in Economics. Although I don't know what he does on the weekends.

And just which gummint is teh WORST EVAR? Iraq? North Korea? France?

-> Akerlof: I think this is the worst government the US has ever
-> had in its more than 200 years of history. It has engaged in
-> extraordinarily irresponsible policies not only in foreign and
-> economic but also in social and environmental policy. This is
-> not normal government policy. Now is the time for people to
-> engage in civil disobedience.

In order to confirm this quote, I asked over at "Ask the Comic Book Guy!" page:

http://www.staticred.net/comicguy/index.php

-> You asked, "Does the US indeed have the worst government ever?".
-> The Comic Book Guy's words of wisdom are:
->
-> Well since my breakfast burrito is congealing rapidly I will be
-> blunt. No.

-> You asked, "But you said...". The Comic Book Guy's words of
-> wisdom are:
->
-> Since my breakfast burrito is congealing rapidly I will be blunt.
-> I sold your soul last night. I found a buyer right away for that
-> item.

-> You asked, "Uh, no more questions.". The Comic Book Guy's words
-> of wisdom are:
->
-> You made me get off my stool for that?

Creepy, non?
