Today's photos didn't reveal any immediate beauties... so I took my favourite of the bunch and photoshopped it a bit to give it a Lomo-like flare.

  2. The Lomo is a Russian-built camera that's known for its outstanding optics (and crappy construction) :)

    The Lomo was initially created back in the good ol' days of communism, when someone in the government decided that everyone in the USSR should have a compact camera (check out the history page).

    The most commonly used Lomo is the Lomo LC-A, which is known for two things: the brilliant colour of its photos, and a tunnel-effect seen in most photos. And for falling apart. (ok, so it's known for three things)
