Courtesy of Mother Nature, you get the Daily Photo a little early today...

I couldn't capture what I wanted to though -- there was ball lightning running through the clouds before the fork lightning started... It was stunningly beautiful to see these balls of light play with each other through the clouds, arcing and turning and flying.

We spent a half hour or so sitting outside watching the lightning flash across the sky above us. This is a crop of the best photo of the bunch (man is that stuff hard to catch!)
