Since I'm doing updates, it only makes sense to do an update on Dad's condition as well. He's nearly back to his old self, though he does have a new addition since coming out of the hospital. He goes back in for more surgery in 4-6 weeks, and will be out of commission for another 4-6 weeks after that.

He's relatively upbeat, despite everything that's happened to him in the last month, and should get through it all with relatively few problems.

Essentially what happened (without getting into details), is that he went in for an operation a few weeks ago; though the operation went well, the amount of energy his body put into healing the area caused all sorts of other problems (that were just waiting to happen, but were kept in check by the body) to occur. So, two weeks after the initial operation, all hell broke loose, body-wise, and he was taken into emergency.

Some tests were taken, and they were relatively certain what caused the problems to occur. The upcoming operation will solve the last of these.
