I had a great time celebrating the birthday last night...

We took a small group of friends -- Dan, Pam & Igor, Aida, Christie, and David -- out for dinner last night, to the Mongolia Express. We followed that up with dessert & drinks at home.

And, of course, presents! ;)

Pam & Igor gave me a hiking stick for my right hand -- and Aida gave me one for my left! David gave me a knobbly massage thing, for Kirsten to use on my neck to reduce tension, and Dan gave me those topo maps I was talking about a few entries ago, along with Be Expert with Map & Compass. Christie gave me a very nice oriental picture and frame, that will sit nicely in the Christie shrine in our apartment.

Thanks to everyone who came out for the celebration, and thanks again for the great gifts.. ;)
