The biking into work every day plan has had a minor setback... some jerk went and stole my bike today while I was in the office.

Luckily, we have a spare, and my folks had the serial number at home. I've lodged a report with the local constabulary, and hopefully my bike will show up in the not too distant future. The officer I was talking to mentioned that most people stealing bikes only use them to get from point A to B, then ditch them. With any luck, someone will find my bike and turn it in.

With any luck. :(

  3. :( Shitty dude, really sorry to hear that. They snip the lock or something? I wonder how I got off leaving my bike on my porch when I was living on the ground floor for 2 years and never had a problem (even though my mom was sure that it'd get stolen).

    Hope you get it back.

  4. I am so sorry Darren, I hope it turns up soon. Better yet, the dude/ette who stole it returns it under the weight of pangs of guilt and brings you a fresh pan of brownies for your inconvenience.
