the Comic book guy...

<< man its quiet in here | Main | west nile... >>

You know, I've learned a few things about people from Ask the Comic Book Guy!:

1) People want to know if he's gay, or if they're gay. Apparently the Comic Book Guy is a flaming gay guy with good gaydar.
2) People like insulting the Comic Book Guy. I get countless questions of 'eat me' or 'fuck off' entered in. So, to revise point 1, the Comic Book guy is a flaming gay guy with good gaydar, who is not well liked by the public.
3) People want to know who his favourite comic character is. That makes sense. I should probably write something in to deal with that question, and say "Aqua man... but only in my dreams." or something. People also want to know who his favourite Simpsons character is. That just seems odd, since he wouldn't likely know what "The Simpsons" is, being a non-omnipotent part of the show. It'd be like asking you who your favourite character of "The Canadians" was. You'd likely look at the person asking somewhat quizzically, then walk away.

So there you have it. Things I've learned from the Ask the Comic Book Guy! script.
