evening wrap=up

<< the atrocity of it all. | Main | needed. >>

Back from the ANM speech... it was not my finest moment. :) I learnt today that speech does not just come naturally out of my mouth, and will do much, much more preparatory work if I ever decide to do that again.

It wasn't so bad near the end, when things turned to more of a question and answer period... but the first part was just short of disaster. Thank god the people there were kind folk, and had much encouragement to give me afterwards.

If I do osmethink like this again, it will be more of a seminar-type thing, where the discussion is actively directed by the audience.

The earlier part of the day went much smoother. The interview with the agency seemed to go quite well. The person I was supposed to interview with stayed home sick today, and instead had the entire company sit down with me for the interview.

The atmosphere there was casual and comfortable. I felt quite at home with the people there, and really enjoyed talking with them. With any luck, they'll have felt the same way, and I'll hear back from them soon.

Glad to hear things went so well for you! I'm sure you'll have no problems getting the position!
