the (male) pill

<< new trojan | Main | Iraq's fate... >>

By 2005, a male birth control pill should be available - this should come as a welcome option to men and women alike, in monogamous relationships. The pill essentially reduces the sperm count to zero, with no noticable side effects aside from slight weight gain (in comparison, there are several more side effects in existing birth control pills for women).

In clinical trials, all participants' sperm counts dropped to zero. And, according to the researchers, "any breathing male is a candidate."
