what d'ya think?

<< hrrm? | Main | north korea (almost) has the bomb. >>

There's a heated debate going on in Webdesign-L right now about the Wayback Machine (http://web.archive.org), and whether it's a good thing, or a complete and total copyright violation.

What do you guys think?

I personally think it's a good idea, nice to have a reference to pages that don't exist anymore, or to look back into your own past to see just how lame you were, or rather, just how far you've come :)

Just out of interest, you got a link to the discussion?

'fraid not... Webdesign-l doesn't keep a web archive of its own discussions. The listmom is a fervent anti-spam advocate, so won't put the emails up for public browsing.
