such beauty...

<< I can't believe it. | Main | when truth and fiction collide. horribly. >>

Last night, I spent a little over a half hour shivering in the cold, watching the Northern Lights.

I've never seen them 'live' before, so I had no idea they were as full of life as they are. Although they weren't as strong as if I were farther north, they still danced and filled the sky with a green-blue glow.

The lights danced from one edge of the horizon to another -- one of the lights above our apartment danced for about 5 minutes like a curtain in a slight breeze.

I tell ya, I miss the mountains of BC, but last night almost made up for it.
