the logic is exemplary.

In a stunning display of warmonger logic, the US is now threatening to block UN Weapons Inspectors.

Essentially, they want to force the UN into giving them the right to attack Iraq for the slightest interference with the inspection process.

It's funny - everyone of my generation grew up with a subconscious fear of a third World War, and collectively sighed relief after Glasnost, the fall of the Berlin Wall and disarmemant. Now, it's getting closer and closer to becoming a reality.

Ok, I don't like or trust the source behind the request, Bush and his administration, but if there was a president that I trusted making the request I would go for it. The current situation with the UN vs. Iraq is like the parent that always threatens to punish but doesn't ever follow through with the threat, which usually makes some of the worst children. The military backing of weapons inspectors should have been used years ago when the inspectors first left Iraq.
