The Sony DSC-F707 is the first thing on my wishlist once I'm a little more settled in the job... K has even said I can justify the expense (of a digital camera, not necessarily this digital camera)...

I really miss being able to take pictures of whatever by borrowing the Sony I was using before. A great example of the pictures I was able to take before is on my portfolio page.

I have the Sony DSC-F505 and I LOVE it. I bought it in early 2000 and I've never regreted the purchase. I had a chance to look at the F707 a few weeks ago and it's very slick. It's a bit larger than the F505 because the lens is bigger and there is a viewfinder (a very welcome addition). Still, I'm not ready to buy a new camera yet. Too pricey...argh.

I'm still playing around with the decision between film and digital. I'm still leaning more towards digital than film, because the bulk of the shots I take would be for web usage. The only problem of course, is that digital cameras are still much more expensive than film...

Of course I also found the Minolta Dimage 5, which seems to have the key features I want for less than half the price of the Sony....
