<< it's groovy | Main | nice and symmetrical. that's me. >>

So I was talking to K tonight, and we briefly talked about the site... She mentioned that she might be persuaded to read it more often if I actually spent some more time on the content (rather than making the short pithy comments I tend to make here, creating some actual writing).

What d'ya think, folks? Should I throw a little more original content onto the site? Should I get off my ass and do some work on >_ or Maggie?

How 'bout some CSS/HTML tutorials, or State of the Web type banter? Let me know by leavlng comments.

I'm going to date this ahead a couple of days, to keep it near the top. ;)

As a side note, this would be the perfect opportunity for those of you who read the site, but never comment to come out of the woodwork... I know you're there, I can see you in my server logs... ;)

sure thing get off you ass and write someting useful. take all the usless academic knowledge and create somethings to share with the world. the more diverse the better. rant, howtos, fiction, whatever. oh, and nag all the other closet writers out there to do the same.

I don't usually comment because I generally don't have a lot to say. But I'd love to hear more of your thoughts and your ideas about various things. Be opinionated! :) Ask your readers for their opinions, too. I find that's the best way to get people talking -- not by being controversial neccessarily, but by sharing opinions. :)

/me misses the darren journal.

Seriously though, you don't want to fall and turn into every other blog out there that sits and posts random links or makes offhand comments every entry.

Of course, this is your site, and you get to choose what you write about, and how much of yourself you want to reveal to the world, but I'd love to see more tutorials and a return (and finish?) of "_"

I dunno, I think you should work on the writings too, but the journal stuff is fun as well. Because sometimes its nice to read offhanded stuff and get pointed to silly links. :) I think a hybrid would be nice.
