This article isn't interesting because OJ's back in the press. It isn't interesting because he's being charged with a felony. It's interesting because of the last two paragraphs. I don't know who Christie Prody is, but I'm amazed that someone would get into a relationship with someone who was tried on the murder of his own wife and has a history of wife-beating.Why Christie, why?

Went to go see Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) yesterday with Alan, Brian, and Del. What can I say but "wow!"The choreography in this movie is outstanding, creating some wonderfully flowing fight and chase scenes, borrowing from the traditional Japanese Ninja mythos of superhuman warriors (though this is a film about the Chinese Hiang Su, I think the Nina aesthetic works well for it). I've always liked the 'ninja aesthetic' -- that portrayed in *true* Ninja movies -- where they make leaping bounds from point to point, lighter than air. Michelle Yeoh, as always, is an outstanding martial artist, as is Zhang Ziyi, in only her second (credited) film.
As it turns out, Ang Lee, the director, also directed Sense and Sensibility and Eat Drink Man Woman (which he also wrote). Both of these films were critically acclaimed, and have received high ratings on the IMDB (though not as high as Crouching Tiger, which has scored a 9 -- ranking it with such films as Schindler's List, The Shawshank Redemption and The Usual Suspects).
I'd highly recommend seeing Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, if only for the fight scenes. The plot is predictable at points (due to some very obvious hints given in the story), but has some delicious little twists in it. The photography in the film is also outstanding, capturing some beautiful views of China and Chinese life.
