The Guy I Almost Was - this is an absolutely incredible story, made even better by the illustrations. What's funny is that I can completely identify with the protaganist... I've wanted a Hermes 3000 for years.

As you may or may not already know, Blogger is having rolling outages, due to financial problems. With any luck, they'll be back in service in no time (that is the plan), but just in case, I'm going to look into an alternate system, most likely one that's on-site (a little more secure this way as well, I might add). There won't be a whole lot changing on your side of things, other than some additional features coming into play (if I get off my arse and put 'em in). I'm using staticred.net as a playground for nasty.cx (expect a redesign to appear February 15th -- Chrissie: let me know if you still want to do that cover by this weekend), which I want to add a comment system to, as well as a *much* better back end. If anyone has a good suggestion for an open source, GPL'd backend content management system (NOT slashdot or PHPNuke), let me know.

Other than that, nothing much going on. Hoping to spend some time this weekend hacking up nasty & seeing what comes out.. I've got some basic ideas for the redesign, but I still need to take a little time and work it all out.
