Today's Friday. On Monday night, I leave for Abbotsford again on the 8pm flight. I don't know if I'm quite ready to go... The last two weeks have been nice... the weather here in Edmonton has been absolutely gorgeous (if not slightly chilly). and I've had more 'quality time' with Kirsten than I have had in a long time.

It's been great being with my "family." I've really enjoyed being home for the last two weeks. I'm really going to miss it when I have to leave. With any luck, I'll be able to do this again in a couple months, which should hold us through until we find out if K is going to receive her funding next year (she will, it's just a matter of being told she will).

I do miss working in the office, however. I've been much more efficient out here than I thought I might, but I've missed things like the morning workouts with the guys and the movie tuesdays. I also miss being in on the discussions that go on in the development area. Over the past two weeks, I've had some good ideas for UI changes, but haven't been able to talk with the developers as much as I could have normally.

All in all though, this has been a good couple of weeks. I'm extremely happy that my employer and friend, granted me this time.
